From the roof to the crawl space, we inspect every inch of your home.

What Sets Reilly Inspections Apart

If large inspection companies are the chain hotels of the industry, Reilly Inspections is the boutique hotel—intentionally personal, deeply experienced, and uncompromising in quality, service, and attention to detail.

We are 100% family-owned and operated, built on decades of hands-on construction expertise, operational discipline, and generational pride. Our inspections aren’t rushed, outsourced, or reduced to a checklist. Every inspection reflects our name, our reputation, and our commitment to craftsmanship.

A Personalized, High-Touch Inspection Experience

At Reilly Inspections, every home is inspected with the time, focus, and care it deserves. We don’t run volume schedules or rely on generic processes. Instead, we provide a thorough evaluation and a true introduction to the home—explaining how systems function, how to operate them, and how to maintain them over time, from mechanicals to utilities.

Reports — Delivered Within Moments of Completion

There’s no waiting days—and no generic templates.

Your inspection report is emailed within moments of the inspection’s completion to you and your real estate agent. Each report includes detailed narratives and photographic documentation of the home’s infrastructure.

Our reports are proprietary, copyrighted work created by owner J. Reilly, designed to provide clear, actionable insight rather than checkbox-style summaries. This reporting system reflects decades of field experience and sets Reilly Inspections apart from mass-market inspection software.

Included Services Others Charge Extra For

Every Reilly inspection includes services many companies treat as add-ons:

  • Termite inspection

  • Complimentary pre-closing walk-through to confirm the home’s condition before closing

A Relationship That Doesn’t End After Closing

Here’s where Reilly Inspections truly stands apart:

We will revisit the property at no additional charge for as long as you own the home.

If a concern arises months or years later, if you need clarification, or if you simply want another expert look—we’re available. No one else offers this level of long-term support.

Expertise Where It Matters Most — Including Antique Homes

Antique and historic homes require experience, not assumptions. Our deep background in historic construction and restoration allows us to provide realistic, accurate assessments—so buyers understand both the value and responsibility of owning an older home.

We Go Where Others Don’t

We don’t cut corners.

  • We climb onto roofs instead of inspecting from the ground.
  • We enter crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces others avoid.
  • We inspect every accessible inch of the property to uncover issues commonly missed by high-volume inspection firms.

Termite & Pest Inspections

Termites cause billions of dollars in damage each year. They primarily feed on wood, but also damage paper, books, insulation, and even swimming pool liners and filtration systems. Termites can injure living trees and shrubs, but more often are a secondary invader of woody plants already in decline. While buildings may become infested at any time, termites are of particular importance when buying or selling a home since a termite inspection/infestation report is typically a condition of sale. Besides the monetary impact, thousands of winged termites emerging inside one’s home are an emotionally trying experience — not to mention the thought of termites silently feasting on one’s largest investment.

All home inspections include a comprehensive and thorough inspection for termites. We are so confident in our termite inspections that we offer a 6-month warranty for no additional charge.

Other wood destroying insects included with our inspections are:
Carpenter Ants
Carpenter Bees
Powder Post Beetles

We will also inspect the home for various other pests, including but not limited to:
Mice
Squirrels
Bats
Cave Crickets

Radon Testing – Real time radon results.

Radon is an odorless, invisible gas and is second only to cigarette smoking as the leading cause of lung cancer.  Each year about 21,000 Americans die from lung cancer caused by exposure to radon. Testing is is a simple and inexpensive way to know if your home has elevated levels of radon.

Our exclusive use of high-tech digital radon tests provide real-time results; no waiting up to a week for lab results from the old-fashioned charcoal tests that are used by many other inspection agencies. Our radon devices are also much more accurate and, because they register an air reading every hour, are less prone to tampering. If there are uncommon fluctuations in the readings, it can be a sign that the device was tampered with. On the day of the inspection we place the device in the home and retrieve it 48 hours later. One of our certified Radon inspectors analyzes the electronic results immediately and sends a report to you by email. If we discover anything unusual we will call you to discuss solutions.

Our inspectors are certified by The National Radon Safety Board to perform and evaluate all radon tests.
